The Henderson City-County Planning Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month (with the exception of January) at 6:00 P.M. on the third floor of the Henderson Municipal Center at 222 First Street (corner of First and Elm). The Land Development Committee meets on Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. in the Planning Commission office two weeks prior to the Planning Commission meeting. This committee is made up of Planning Commission staff and city and county technical advisors. Major subdivision plans, site plans and development plans are reviewed by this committee prior to them being forwarded to the full Planning Commission.
