Codes
The County Codes Department is responsible for issuing out building permits, and for the enforcement of building codes and more.

Coroner's Office
The Coroner's Office investigates the cause and manner of all local deaths.

County Attorney
This office prosecutes all violations of criminal law within the district courts, including DUIs, cold checks, domestic violence, juvenile crime and conduct preliminary hearings on all felony cases.

Detention Center
The Henderson County Detention Center’s mission is to provide a safe and secure facility for all inmates and staff.

Emergency Management (EM)
Our mission is to coordinate an emergency management system of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery to protect the lives, environment and property of the people of Henderson and Henderson county.

Fiscal Court
The court is comprised of the Judge / Executive, who serves as the head of the executive branch of county government, and five magistrates.

Occupational Tax Administration
The tax has both payroll and net profits components. Henderson County entered into a contractual agreement with the City of Henderson whereas the city accepts applications and payments on behalf of the county in conjunction with the city’s occupational tax.
